Instructions
 

  • Cook the Linguine: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine the Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the lemon garlic butter sauce. Stir in the parmesan cheese and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the pasta is creamy and well-coated.
