Ingredients

Citrus Syrup

  • 12 ounces clementine juice from about 12 clementines
  • 6 ounces grapefruit juice preferably ruby red
  • 4 ounces orange juice
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar

Liquor & Garnish

  • 8 ounces gin
  • 4 ounces elderflower liqueur (St. Germain)
  • sparkling water to taste
  • rosemary & cranberries for garnish

Instructions

Citrus Syrup

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the clementine juice, grapefruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, and granulated sugar. Stir occasionally, until sugar dissolves, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Cocktail Assembly

  • Strain the juice mixture and transfer to a pitcher. Add the gin and elderflower liqueur. Stir to combine.
  • Chill for 30 minutes.
  • When ready to serve, pour the chilled mixture into glasses filled with ice. Top each with sparkling water and garnish with rosemary and cranberries.

Notes

You can prepare the citrus syrup up to 48 hours in advance and keep refrigerated. Mix in spirits just before serving to maintain carbonation when you add sparkling water.
Store your mixed cocktail (without sparkling water) in the fridge for up to 24 hours; beyond that, the flavors start to dull.
