- 12 oz pasta cavatappi or penne
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 tbsp Dijon mustard or 1/2 cup diced onions
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside.
In the same skillet, brown the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
Add heavy cream, milk, and cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until cream cheese is melted and sauce begins to thicken.
Stir in 1½ cups cheddar cheese and Parmesan. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Add cooked pasta, beef, and half the bacon. Stir to coat everything well.
Top with remaining cheddar and bacon. Cover to melt, or broil for 2–3 minutes until bubbly.
