Ingredients
  

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells uncooked
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Boil pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet with garlic and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat.
  • In a bowl, mix beef, ricotta, Parmesan, half of the mozzarella, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture.
  • Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place stuffed shells on top.
  • Cover with more marinara and remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Add sautéed spinach or mushrooms to the filling for extra flavor.
Make ahead and refrigerate overnight before baking.
Use store-bought or homemade marinara for convenience.
