Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt 2% fat yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves finely chopped
  • 2 small garlic cloves fresh grated/minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder organic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/8 teaspoon celtic salt kosher or good quality pink Himalayan
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder optional
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Wash the mint and the lemon, peel the garlic. Take a ceramic bowl out ready to mix this wonderful sauce.
  • Jest and juice half a lemon, chop finely the fresh mint, and mince, or paste the garlic.
  • Place yogurt, mint, garlic, salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest, olive oil, cumin, cayenne pepper, if you choose to use any of the optional ingredients, in a small bowl and stir to combine.
  • Serve as desired or refrigerate for later.
