Ingredients
  

  • 2 steaks ribeye or preferred cut
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes until a golden crust forms.
  • Flip the steaks and add butter and garlic; baste the steaks for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  • Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
