- 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 15 oz diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth or vegetable broth for a lighter option

Cook the Meat: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef (or turkey) and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
