Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 0.5 cup onion diced
  • 0.5 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 head butter lettuce leaves separated

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook for an additional 2 minutes until translucent.
  • Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well mixed and heated through.
  • Remove from heat and spoon the mixture into washed lettuce leaves, serving with cilantro and lime.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute ground chicken with tofu or your choice of legumes.
