- 2 cup strawberries hulled and sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into pieces.
Combine the strawberries, sugar, and water in a pot and simmer over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
Blend the mixture until smooth, then pour it into a shallow container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
