1 lb flank or sirloin steak thinly sliced against the grain 1 tbsp soy sauce for marinade 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine or dry sherry 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp cornstarch For the Sauce: 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tbsp hoisin sauce 1 tbsp dark soy sauce 1 tsp sugar 1/2 cup beef broth or water 1 tsp cornstarch For the Stir-Fry: 2 tbsp vegetable oil divided 1 red bell pepper sliced 1 green bell pepper sliced 1 yellow bell pepper sliced 1 medium onion sliced 3 garlic cloves minced 1 tsp fresh ginger minced Black pepper to taste Cooked white rice for serving
Marinate Beef: Combine beef with soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Marinate for 15–20 minutes.
