Ingredients
  

  • 2 3 ounce packages instant ramen noodles seasoning packet discarded
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons shallot ginger chili oil
  • 3 tablespoons scallions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds roasted
  • 2 tablespoons reserved ramen water

Instructions
 

  • Boil the noodles in hot water; as the steam rises, save two tablespoons of the liquid a minute before they're fully cooked.
  • In a pan, melt the butter with avocado oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic until its aroma is just beginning to heighten, being careful not to brown it.
  • Off the heat, blend in the ramen water, soy sauce, and brown sugar, stirring gently until everything merges smoothly.
  • Return to heat, incorporate the cooked noodles and chili oil, and toss them until uniformly coated. Finish with scallions and sesame seeds for extra crunch.
