Ingredients
  

  • 2 Persian cucumbers grated and liquid squeezed out
  • 1 cup plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint chopped, optional
  • ground cumin optional
  • avocado oil optional drizzle

Instructions
 

  • Grate the cucumbers and remove as much liquid as possible using a cloth or strainer.
  • Mix the drained cucumber, yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, dill, and mint in a bowl.
  • Chill the mixture briefly to meld flavors, and stir before serving. Optionally, add a drizzle of avocado oil.

Notes

This homemade tzatziki sauce is both refreshing and quick to prepare, perfect as a party dip or a topping for grilled dishes. Swap olive oil with avocado oil for a twist.
