Ingredients
  

  • - 12 oz kielbasa sausage sliced
  • - 2 tbsp olive oil
  • - 1 small onion diced
  • - 2 cloves garlic minced
  • - 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • - 1 ½ cups tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • - 2 cups bowtie pasta uncooked
  • - Salt and black pepper to taste
  • - Optional: 1 cup shredded cheese
  • - Fresh parsley or grated Parmesan for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned.
  • Stir in diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in tomato sauce and chicken broth. Stir well.
  • Add uncooked bowtie pasta and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking; cook until pasta is tender.
  • Optional: Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
  • Garnish with parsley or Parmesan and serve hot.

Notes

• Stir regularly to prevent pasta from sticking.
• Add red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
• For a creamy version, stir in ¼ cup cream or cream cheese at the end.
