- 2 oz tequila silver/blanco
- 1 oz Cointreau or triple sec
- 1 oz fresh lime juice about 1 lime
- ½ oz agave syrup or simple syrup optional
- Ice cubes
- Coarse salt for glass rim
- Lime wedge for garnish
Optional Swaps:
- Use flavored tequila e.g. jalapeño-infused for a spicy version
- Replace Cointreau with Grand Marnier for a richer taste
- Use orange juice if no liqueur is available
Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in coarse salt.
