- 6 medium lemons about 1 cup juice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 5 cups cold water
- Ice cubes as needed
- Lemon slices & mint leaves for garnish
Cut lemons in half and squeeze to extract the juice. Strain out seeds.
In a small pan, dissolve sugar in 1 cup warm water to create a simple syrup.
In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, sugar syrup, and 4 cups cold water. Stir well.
Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
