- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lb sausage sliced
- 4 cups kale chopped
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

In a large pot, sauté chopped onions and minced garlic over medium heat until fragrant and translucent, about 5 minutes.
