Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix plus eggs, oil, and water as directed
  • 1 can 20 oz crushed or chunked pineapple, drained
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tub 8 oz whipped topping (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare yellow cake mix as per package instructions and pour into the dish.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • (Optional) Fold in whipped topping for a fluffier texture.
  • Spread cream mixture over the cooled cake.
  • Top evenly with drained pineapple chunks or crushed pineapple.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle shredded coconut or chopped pecans on top. This cake is best served chilled and even better the next day!
