  • 9 cups Chex cereal I use equal parts corn, rice, and wheat.
  • 1.5 cups cheese crackers
  • 1.5 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt I prefer Lawry's.
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper or smoked paprika if you prefer.
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce optional

Instructions

  • Start by combining all the dry snacks, including the Chex cereal, cheese crackers, mini pretzel twists, and mixed nuts in a spacious bowl.
  • In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne until aromatic.
  • Gradually pour the buttery mixture over the dry snacks while gently tossing to ensure everything is well-coated.
  • Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, then spread the mix evenly on two baking sheets.
  • Bake for about an hour, stirring the mix every 20 minutes, until it turns golden and fragrant.
  • Allow it to cool completely before serving to enhance the crunchiness.
