Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cups green cabbage chopped
  • 1 cup carrots julienned or shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tsp sriracha or chili paste optional
  • 1 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Push beef aside and add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant (about 1–2 minutes).
  • Stir in cabbage and carrots. Cook for 5–7 minutes until just tender.
  • Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, and oyster sauce (if using). Stir well to coat all ingredients.
  • Drizzle sriracha for heat, if desired.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.

Notes

Swap beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
Great for meal prep—store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Serve over rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice.
