Ingredients

  • 1 lb large raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz Andouille sausage sliced into thick coins
  • 1 lb petite potatoes red or gold
  • 2 ears corn cut into 1.5-inch rounds
  • 1-2 tbsp Tony Chachere’s Bold Creole Seasoning
  • 8-10 metal or wooden skewers soaked if wooden
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp Tony’s Supreme Crab Boil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 lemon juiced (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add petite potatoes and let them cook for around 12 minutes, then toss in the corn for an additional 5 minutes.
  • After cooking, drain the veggies and set them aside to cool. Skewering is next! Use soaked wooden skewers or metal ones and layer on shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and mix in crab boil seasoning, minced garlic, and optional lemon juice. Let it simmer briefly for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Get your grill to medium-high heat and cook the skewers for about 8 minutes, turning them occasionally. Baste with the garlic butter as they grill, allowing all those flavors to soak in.

Notes

This dish captures the spirit of summer and is great for gatherings. Enjoy the fun of grilling as you watch those flavors meld together beautifully.
