Base

  • 4 plain bagels halved
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce

Toppings

  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella torn into ghost shapes
  • 6 black olives sliced for eyes
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley optional

Instructions
 

Toasting & Prepping

  • Preheat oven to 425°F and arrange bagel halves cut-side up on a rimmed baking sheet; toast until lightly golden, about 3–5 minutes.

Assembling & Baking

  • Spread about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce onto each bagel half, creating a thin, glossy layer.
  • Tear mozzarella into ghost shapes with arms and place on top of sauce.
  • Press two olive slices into each cheese ghost for eyes.
  • Bake until cheese is melted and bubbling around the edges, about 5–7 minutes.

Notes

During testing, pre-toasting the bagels prevented soggy bases.
Store cooled bagels in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat at 350°F for 5 minutes.
