- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 medium zucchinis sliced into half moons
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil divided
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Pat steak dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear steak bites in batches, 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the skillet. Sauté zucchini slices for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir until garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
Return steak and zucchini to the skillet. Toss in the garlic butter sauce until well coated.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Use ribeye or strip steak for extra tenderness.
Don’t overcrowd the pan—sear in batches for best browning.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like heat.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top to brighten flavors.
