Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 medium zucchinis sliced into half moons
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat steak dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear steak bites in batches, 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the skillet. Sauté zucchini slices for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir until garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Return steak and zucchini to the skillet. Toss in the garlic butter sauce until well coated.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use ribeye or strip steak for extra tenderness.
Don’t overcrowd the pan—sear in batches for best browning.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like heat.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top to brighten flavors.
