- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Pat pork chops dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic, stirring until fragrant.
Spoon garlic butter over the chops as they finish cooking.
Add parsley and thyme, cooking 1–2 minutes longer.
Check internal temp with a meat thermometer (145°F / 63°C).
Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve topped with sauce.
For bone-in pork chops, add 2–3 extra minutes cooking time.
Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure even searing.
Use a cast iron skillet for the best caramelization.
