Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur e.g., Kahlúa
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso chilled
  • ½ oz simple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • Ice for shaking
  • 3 coffee beans for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brew the espresso and allow it to cool slightly.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with plenty of ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds to chill and create foam.
  • Strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass.
  • Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
