Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups butter beans rinsed and drained
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add butter beans to the skillet, stirring to coat with garlic and butter. Cook for about 5 minutes until warmed.
  • Stir in lemon juice and zest, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Adjust lemon and salt according to preference. Best served warm.
