Cuisine American, Comfort food
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 6 slices bacon chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 garlic cloves whole or minced
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving some drippings in the pan.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear in the bacon drippings and olive oil until golden brown on both sides. Remove from pan.
Add garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently, stirring to combine.
Whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Return the chicken and bacon to the skillet. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and coated with sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Keep the cream sauce at a gentle simmer, not a boil, to avoid curdling.
Substitute chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
For a lighter option, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
Add a pinch of chili flakes if you want a spicy kick.
