Ingredients
  

  • Hot dogs
  • Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • All-purpose flour
  • Sugar
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Diced frozen fries optional
  • Ketchup and mustard
  • Cinnamon sugar optional
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

Prep the Skewers:

  • Skewer hot dog halves and/or mozzarella sticks onto wooden sticks.

Make the Batter:

  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, egg, and milk into a thick batter. Pour into a tall glass.

Coat:

  • Lightly dust skewers with flour, dip into batter, then roll in panko or diced fries.

Fry:

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry until golden brown (about 3–5 minutes).

Finish:

  • Drizzle with ketchup and mustard, or roll in cinnamon sugar for a sweet version.

Notes

Keep batter cold for better adhesion.
Use both hot dog and cheese for extra flavor.
Try air frying at 375°F for 10–12 minutes for a lighter version
