  • Melt the dark chocolate and butter together over a double boiler until smooth.
  • Stir in the mashed chestnuts and sifted powdered sugar until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared tray, shape it into a log, and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Notes

Allow the log to cool completely before slicing to ensure clean cuts.
If you choose to freeze the log, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap to maintain its freshness.
