  • 1 ball of pizza dough enough for a 12×18-inch rectangle
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil plus more for brushing, optional
  • ½ red bell pepper chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper chopped
  • ½ yellow onion chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms chopped
  • 1 cup cooked bacon chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even baking and crispiness.
  • Prepare the dough: Roll the pizza dough out into a 12×18-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
  • Cook the vegetables: In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the red and green bell peppers, yellow onion, and mushrooms until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Assemble the bread: Lay the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet and brush it with olive oil. Evenly spread the sautéed vegetables over the dough, followed by the chopped bacon.
  • Add the cheese: Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses evenly over the vegetable and bacon mixture.
  • Roll it up: Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal it.
  • Bake the bread: Place the rolled dough seam-side down on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
