- 12 oz 340 g fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 –2 tsp balsamic glaze optional
- ½ tsp flaky sea salt or to taste
- ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper optional
Wash and slice the tomatoes into ¼-inch thick rounds.
Slice the fresh mozzarella into even slices.
On a large serving platter, alternate layers of tomato slices, mozzarella slices, and basil leaves.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze (if using).
Sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt and black pepper.
