- 1 large head romaine lettuce chopped
- 1 cup croutons homemade or store-bought
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup Caesar dressing homemade or store-bought
- 1 tbsp olive oil for croutons, if making fresh
- 1 clove garlic minced (optional, for croutons)
- Pinch of black pepper to taste
Wash and chop romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Pat dry.
(Optional croutons) Toss bread cubes with olive oil and garlic, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden.
Place lettuce in a large bowl. Add Caesar dressing and toss until well coated.
Sprinkle in croutons and grated Parmesan cheese.
Season with black pepper and serve immediately.
