- 4 bone-in pork chops about 1 inch thick
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish
Pat pork chops dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce, simmer until slightly thickened.
Return pork chops to skillet and spoon glaze over them. Cook 2–3 more minutes until coated and cooked through (internal temp 145°F).
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or veggies.
Don’t overcrowd the skillet—sear in batches if needed.
For extra sweetness, add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
Adjust cooking time for thinner or boneless pork chops.
