Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add pork chops and sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

  • Cook until pork reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
  • Remove from heat, rest for 3 minutes, and garnish with parsley.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
Substitute honey with maple syrup for a different flavor.
For extra heat, add ½ tsp red pepper flakes.
