Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup white onion diced
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp pickled relish
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 5 oz shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles

Instructions

  • Cook the beef: Add the ground beef to a large skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks, until it’s browned and cooked through. While that’s happening, preheat your oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Assemble the sliders: Keep the slider rolls connected and slice them in half horizontally. Set the tops aside for now and place the bottom half on your prepared baking sheet. Layer the cheese slices over the buns, then spread the cooked beef evenly on top. Sprinkle diced onion all over for that classic Big Mac flavor.
  • Toast the buns: Place the top buns back on and brush them with melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top, then bake for about 12 minutes — just until the tops are golden and a little toasty.
  • Make the Big Mac sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, pickle relish, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the toppings: Once the sliders are baked, carefully lift off the top buns and set them aside. Sprinkle shredded lettuce over the onions, drizzle the Big Mac sauce generously across the top, and add a couple of pickle slices to each slider. Replace the top buns, slice them up, and dig in!

Notes

These Big Mac Sliders are a crowd favorite, perfect for parties or casual dinners. They bring the fast-food experience home in a fun, shareable way.
