Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 10-12 biscuits crushed (digestive or graham crackers work best)
  • 100 g chocolate melted (milk or dark, your choice)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional, for a shiny coating
  • Optional toppings: crushed nuts coconut flakes, or sprinkles

Instructions

  • Prepare the Base
  • Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs using a ziplock bag and rolling pin.
  • Mash the banana in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Combine the crushed biscuits and mashed banana, mixing thoroughly until it forms a dough-like consistency.
  • Shape the Snacks
  • Roll the mixture into small balls or flatten into cookie shapes.
  • Place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Melt the Chocolate
  • Break the chocolate into pieces and melt using a microwave (20-second intervals) or a double boiler.
  • Add coconut oil for a glossy finish, if desired.
  • Coat the Snacks
  • Dip each snack into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coat. Let excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the tray.
  • Chill and Set
  • Refrigerate the snacks for at least 3 hours or until the chocolate hardens completely.
  • Serve and Enjoy
  • Garnish with optional toppings and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness.
  • Adjust the biscuit-to-banana ratio if the mixture is too sticky or dry.
  • Store snacks in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
