Ingredients
For the base:
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup white sauce or traditional pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
For the topping:
- 1½ cups thinly sliced dill pickles, patted dry
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Ranch dressing for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil and minced garlic.
- Brush the garlic oil mixture over the rolled-out dough.
- Spread your chosen sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle both cheeses evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange the pickle slices in an even layer over the cheese.
- Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh dill and red pepper flakes if desired.
