Ingredients

For the base:

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup white sauce or traditional pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese

For the topping:

  • 1½ cups thinly sliced dill pickles, patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Ranch dressing for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil and minced garlic.
  4. Brush the garlic oil mixture over the rolled-out dough.
  5. Spread your chosen sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  6. Sprinkle both cheeses evenly over the sauce.
  7. Arrange the pickle slices in an even layer over the cheese.
  8. Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh dill and red pepper flakes if desired.
