  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 2 eggs (beaten)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half to create four thin fillets.
  2. Place the fillets between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness. This helps them cook evenly and stay tender.

Step 2: Coat the Chicken

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. Dip each chicken fillet into the beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly in the Parmesan mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

Step 3: Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the coated chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until crispy and golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
