  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or yogurt

For Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup paneer cubes or tandoori chicken pieces
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced
  • ½ bell pepper, diced
  • Fresh cilantro leaves (for garnish)
  • Green chilies, sliced (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, turmeric, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add yeast, warm water, and olive oil. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Make the Sauce:

  1. Heat a pan with 1 tbsp oil. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Stir in tomato puree, garam masala, cumin, and chili powder. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix in cream or yogurt, and cook for another 2 minutes. Set aside.

Assemble the Pizza:

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and place it on a pizza tray.
  3. Spread the prepared sauce evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle half the cheese, add toppings like paneer or chicken, and then the remaining cheese.

Bake:

  1. Bake the pizza in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Garnish with cilantro leaves and green chilies if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, replace chicken with extra paneer or spiced veggies.
